Context

The client has started its SAP S/4 HANA brownfield conversion. They are currently working on SAP ECC 6.0 EHp7.
They are using a lot of SAP modules ( FI, CO, FI-CA, MM, SD, WM, PM, PS, SAP-ISU, …)
The S/4 Hana conversion is supposed to be iso-functional project and apply the simplification item where required.
The S/4 Hana program has started since 2019, several pre-requisite projects, studies have already been executed
to prepare the conversion.
The S/4 Hana conversion of the client SAP ERP is the last step of the project.

Responsabilities

The role of SAP functional lead analyst in the context of a S/4 HANA brownfield conversion consists in :
- Providing SAP functional expertise and advices to the PM and the tracks.
- Being Responsible for coordinating the overall impact analysis as well as the elaboration of the various FDDs.
- Ensuring that all involved Tracks follow the client & project governance and best practices in terms of SDLC as well as the
guidelines provided by the project and ensuring that all project tracks respect the project’s governance.
- Providing S/4 HANA brownfield conversion expertise to the PM and the track leads .
- Ensure that project methodology is in accordance with the best S/4 HANA conversion practices
- Defining guidelines, templates, folders, and tools to be used during the analysis phase
- Ensuring quality control on the deliverables of each track.
- Providing pragmatic recommendations to the project.

The role of Test manager in the context of a S/4 HANA brownfield conversion consists in :
- Writing the master test plan ( MTP) and definition of the testing strategy.
- Following the execution of the SYS tests (system tests), SIT (Systems integration tests between SAP and satellite applications) and BAT (business acceptance tests)
- Loading SIT and BAT tests campaign in JIRA
- Providing sounded tests reports to the project .
- Coordinating the SIT and BAT tests.
- Coordinating :
• The collection of test scripts as from SIT
• The execution of tests as from SIT
• The use of automation when necessary
• The respect of testing governance
• The test reporting

His job will consists in acting as SAP functional lead analyst & test manager.
At the earlier stage of the project, beside the writing of the MTP (as a test manager), he/she will mainly act as a lead analyst.
When the build is finished, he/she will spend the most of his time as a test manager.
He/she will report to the project Manager.

Profile

Candidate characteristics :
- A master degree in computer science, science, economics, engineer or equivalent
- Fluent in FR or NL
- Good Knowledge of the second language (FR-NL) is a +
- Good Knowledge of EN
- Experience in SAP minimum 15 years
- Experience in S/4 HANA projects ( Brownfield or Greenfield) minimum 5 years

-Proven experience in minimum 2 projects S/4 hana conversion including minimum 1 brownfield conversion project
- Participated to minimum one brownfield S/4 HANA conversion
- Experience as test manager or test coordinator or PM on S/4 Hana project
- Knowledge in tool JIRA
- Experience in S/4 HANA conversion or upgrade
- Experience in integration between SAP modules and with satellite application
- Good communication skills
