• You’re responsible for the creation of RFQ’s and PO’s
• You’re in charge of the complete procurement process for cash fixed costs and assigned capex projects
• You’ll drive for fixed costs reduction, guarantee supply and optimise working capital through improved processes and supplier base
• You’ll implement and execute procurement strategies for Capex and cash fixed costs procurement
• You’ll focus on contracts to bring best value u TCO to the sites and optimize safety, quality, energy performance and efficiency, reliability and cost effectiveness
• You’ll participate in the development of specifications and scope definition for equipment, materials and services
• You’ll challenge site/user demand appropriately and critically review requisitions, specifications and scope
• You’ll screen and evaluate suppliers, solicit and follow-up on bid proposals
• You’ll execute and implement contract renewal strategies to ensure timely renewal of all contracts
• You’ll (re)negotiate and administer contracts
• You’ll establish and maintain interpersonal relationships
• You’ll ensure compliance to ISO certificates and financial audit requirements
   

Your profile

• Do you have a bachelor degree in science, business and/or economics with a strong background and experience in technical IT procurement and/or contract management?
• Is you in-depth knowledge of procurement and contractmanagement up-to-date with current standards?
• Are you known with (engineered) equipment, materials and (construction) services in the chemica production plant?
• Do you have a basic knowledge of contracting law and legal aspects?
• Are you experienced with SAP and Microsoft Office?
• Are you fluent in Dutch, English?
• Are your negotiation skills and excellent business/commercial sense considered your strengths?
