What does a Security Engineer do at SPIE Belgium ICS?

Our teams support and facilitate the digital transformation of our corporate and enterprise customers all over Belgium. SPIE Belgium ICS designs, operates and integrates tailored ICT solutions in the areas of Workspace, IT Security, DataCenter & Cloud, Printing & Document Management and IP Connectivity.

As a Security Engineer for the ICS Division of SPIE Belgium, you deliver our ICT solutions to our customers. You will advise and provide quality technical expertise to our customersthrough our managed services, projects and consultancy.

In which areas will you outperform?

As part of an identity and access management (IAM) team, you work with stakeholders from IT, the business, and HR to ensure user roles, access, and privileges are granted, managed, and revoked properly. This IAM team is in need of an additional team member to support them with both user access management and identity access management requests.

As an IAM Operator you will:

  1. Onboard applications and users to the IAM solution.
  2. Execute IAM services in accordance with defined processes, policies, and security requirements.
  3. Perform recertification activities in accordance with the process.
  4. Perform periodic audits to identify users that should be off-boarded/deactivated.
  5. Support other IAM team members on the execution of services.
  6. Deliver hands on security support when there is an IAM requirement.
  7. Address/resolve IAM tickets related to requests and incidents/issues.

 

As a UAM Operator you will:

  1. Grant access to users on clients’ applications.
  2. Liaise with Helpdesk and security teams to ensure security requests and incidents are addressed timely and in accordance with IAM processes/procedures.
  3. Ensure IAM policies are followed and escalate to when end-users violate these policies.
  4. Report on UAM capacity (e.g., number of UAM tickets resolved vs. created).
  5. Address/resolve UAM tickets related to requests and incidents/issues.

  • Bachelor or Master degree in IT or equivalent by experience.
  • 1-3 years of experience working in information security and demonstrable understanding of information security concepts
  • Experience in identity and access management (IAM)
  • Knowledge, technical understanding, and experience implementing and/or operating an IAM solution 
  • Fluent in French or Dutch, and English
  • Good active & passive understanding of French and Dutch
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Good time management, organizational, and decision-making skills
