What does a L1 Consultant do at SPIE Belgium ICS?

Our teams support and facilitate the digital transformation of our corporate and enterprise customers all over Belgium. SPIE Belgium ICS designs, operates and integrates tailored ICT solutions in the areas of Workspace, IT Security, DataCenter & Cloud, Printing & Document Management and IP Connectivity.

As a Security Engineer for the ICS Division of SPIE Belgium, you deliver our ICT solutions to our customers. You will advise and provide quality technical expertise to our customersthrough our managed services, projects and consultancy.

In which areas will you outperform?

  1. Providing 1st line technical support, answering support queries via phone & email.
  2. Remote administration and management of customer premises equipment.
  3.  To log & prioritise system & user support calls for the second line support team.
  4. Carrying out user administration and set up.
  5. Recording and actioning faults as reported on: PC’s, servers, laptops and mobile.
  6. Determining the nature of faults and the steps required to rectify it.
  7. Creating and maintaining email profiles for users.
  8. Writing progress and statistical reports for supervisors and managers.
  9. Document and maintain Help Desk policies and procedures.
  10. The update and maintenance of the IT service desk authorised users database.
  11. Track, monitor and report on all Help Desk incidents within defined customer service levels.
