DevOps Engineer

In order to reinforce our Traffic Management department we’re looking for a transversal (cross projects) DevOps engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support development teams with infrastructure provisioning needs, offering guidance and expertise to streamline processes
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, using tools such as Jenkins and Azure DevOps to facilitate continuous integration and delivery
  • Collaborate with the infrastructure team to develop and implement strategies for infrastructure optimization and automation
  • Use Azure Application Insights for monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing application performance
  • Implement and manage containerization and orchestration solutions, with a strong emphasis on Docker and Kubernetes, to ensure efficient deployment and scaling of applications
  • Advise on network architecture aspects, including firewall configurations, port management, and routing strategies to ensure secure and efficient data flow
  • Ensure system integrity by managing SSL certificates and implementing HTTPS protocols
  • Automate routine tasks, perform API interactions, and validate service functionalities
  • Provide basic DBA support, assisting with script executions and guiding the cloud team on database strategies to optimize data management and accessibility
  • Define and implement strategies for updates rollouts and establish recovery plans to minimize downtime
  • Support the testing team during performance testing campaigns, by monitoring the system’s behavior and resources consumption

Profile

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar DevOps role
  • Fluent in English and either French or Dutch
  • Deep understanding of the Azure cloud platform, including Azure Application Insights, Azure DevOps, and other key Azure services
  • Proficient in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines, with hands-on experience with Jenkins or similar tools
  • Expertise in Docker and Kubernetes for container management and orchestration
  • Good understanding of network and security fundamentals, including firewall configurations, SSL/TLS certificates, and secure communication protocols
  • Competent in scripting and API usage for automating tasks and testing services
  • Basic DBA skills, capable of executing scripts and guiding database strategies within a cloud environment
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with both technical and non-technical teams
