You will be responsible for the day-to-day facilitation of the configuration process. Your priority will be to control the data changes in the Configuration Management Database and to enable efficient resolution of integrity issues.
- You will increase the existing CMDB, both in terms of scope as well as data quality for the existing data;
- You will manage the day-to-day activities of the process, ensuring operating procedures are documented to support the activities;
- You will apply the configuration management process;
- You will support in creating and maintaining documentation and learning material for configuration management process users;
- You will maintain the Configuration Management System;
- You will assign approved change tasks to CMDB admins for execution. You will prepare user stories for implementation of the changes and validation of the implementation;
- You will prioritize, in consultation with organization stakeholders, of CMDB changes requested;
- You will coordinate interfaces between configuration management and other processes;
- You will ensure that all operational services are recorded within the CMDB;
- You will ensure that all information within the CMDB is accurate and up to date;
- You will track compliance to the process;
- You will validate and follow up of outsourcing partner scope of CMDB data maintenance;
- You will provide administrative and functional support in ServiceNow to users and process owners within the organization;
- You will determine the impact of possible upgrades compared to the CMDB;
- You will investigate proactively how product upgrades can be beneficial to improving existing customer ServiceNow implementation.
Profile
- You have a Master's degree or you are equivalent by relevant professional experience;
- You have at least 3 years of experience working as a Configuration Manager;
- You have proficient knowledge of : Service management (ITIL (v3 & 4)) processes, ITSM & ITIL principles and their link with CMDB, ITSM processes as Service Catalog, and Change/Incident/Problem Management, Asset Management, PPM, Discovery, Knowledge, etc.
- Having experience with ServiceNow CMDB is an asset;
- Having experience with offshore development teams is an asset;
- You are a team player with excellent communication skills;
- You are able to work independently, you have strong problem solving skills, you can think and act in a proactive way;
- You have good active knowledge of Dutch, French and English.
