For one of our clients based in the area of Mechelen, we are looking for a Citrix VDI Engineer.Mission:
Checking and controlling the server, and offering solutions to its problems.

• Supporting and preserving the Virtual Desktop setup of the institution, which includes, the AppSense and XenDesktop, XenApp, and others.
• Help in organization and management of the business applications.
• Determining the increased cases received by the IT Helpdesk.
• Improving and adjusting the Virtual Desktop system.
• Design and implement platform security.
• Taking part in upgrading and updating the system’s applications, installing it with up to date descriptions.
• Should strengthen the apps, the Windows server, and the principal operating system.
• Providing technical assistance for all the servers, desktops, and services that apply business.
• Taking full control and accountability for applying, implementing, maintaining, and examining the documentation of the Virtual desktop infrastructure

• This team is responsible for the installation, support, upgrades and monitoring of +1000 VDI computers. You will be personally responsible for the technical coordination of all changes on the platform.

•  You will be the one who is creating the image for the users

Deliverables:

• Monitoring of the assigned requests, and implementing the corrective actions.
• Follow-up on deployment of application releases.
• Solving application technical incidents and configuration 
• Technical involvement in new VDI projects.

Profile:

• You speak English and Dutch.
• You have strong communication skills.
• You are proactive.
• You have experience with Citrix and Windows Server Management.
• You have a good network knowledge: TCP/IP, load balancers, certificates, firewalls have no secrets for you
