What will you do?

As an AWS Cloud DevOps Engineer, you will assist in building and operating the AWS infrastructure for our customers using IaC, Kubernetes and Ansible. You will analyse and implement operational issues, architectural improvements and the impact of new feature requests on the existing cloud infrastructure. You will also be a Specific Person Of Contact (SPOC) for the proven methodologies and culture.

On a daily basis you will:

• Building, managing and improving the AWS environment using Terraform.
• Implementing SRE Principals and practices
• Ansible and RHEL training and coaching (SPOC for Customers/Internal)
• Terraform Automation improvements
• DevOps training, assessment and coaching (SPOC for Customers/Internal)
• Operating Kubernetes on AWS (application releases, EKS upgrades)
• Cloud Assessment Tool (CAT) improvement/development
• Tier II Technical support service desk for our customers
• Assist the Cloud Delivery manager in creating training tracks for the PTC Engineers

Our technical environment is: Kubernetes, Terraform, AWS, Linux OS Environments, CI/CD tooling, Bash, CloudFormation, Ansible …

Who are you?

As a Positive Thinker you...

• Speak fluently English and a good knowledge of French or Dutch is a plus.
• Have at least 2 years of experience in AWS and DevOps engineering.
• Will be an outstanding candidate if you share our values: Positive Thinking, Collaboration, Evolution & Commitment.
• Hold a degree in computer science, but above all we are looking for a passionate person who can present a project that he/she is proud of.
• A RHEL or AWS certification is always a plus.
• Experience with API managers such as Kong is a plus
