2nd Line Support Engineer

You will strengthen our client’s Support team, as part of the Operations department. The Support team provides support to users within our client’s organization in the event of IT incidents that cannot be resolved in the first line.

  • You will perform 2nd line support;
  • You will follow up incidents and also proactively detect possible incidents;
  • You will work together with other teams within Operations to analyze and discuss incidents;
  • You will acquire technical expertise within the support center team;
  • You will create and follow up software and hardware requests;
  • You will design procedures and guidelines for the Support center and keep them up to date;
  • You will coach junior/new colleagues;
  • You will provide external support services : you will keep user manuals up to date, you will deal with questions from customers, you will provide individual explanation of specific functions to individual users;
  • You will support projects and you will evaluate and improve the necessary documentation when the project is operational.

  • You have a Bachelor Degree in IT and / or you have experience in 1st line / 2nd line support;
  • You have a broad IT knowledge : software and hardware, basic Windows, Office, Business applications, access, etc
  • You have a thorough IT knowledge within one or more of the specific domains mentioned above;
  • Are have strong communicative skills;
  • You are able to make proposals for improvement proactively;
  • You attach great importance to customer-friendliness;
  • You can work independently, but do you also consult your colleagues and share your knowledge.
  • You are fluent in Dutch, French and English.
