Activity: 

Initially you will be part of the operational team, where you will: 

• Investigate incidents reported by your team members 
• Investigate reported incidents and problems 

After a few weeks, depending on your ability to absorb knowledge about the environment, you’ll become a part of the project team under the supervision of the project leader and technical lead to participate in project activities, eventually becoming technical lead in projects related to your expertise domains. 

Profile:

• Thorough understanding of: 
• TCP/IP stack 
• STP, OSPF, VRRP/HSRP, CDP/LDP, BGP, dot1q
• DNS, DHCP, HTTP(s), SNMP
• Stateful firewall L4 policies

Understanding of/experience with at least 2 of the following areas of expertise:

• QoS
• Multicast
• MPLS L3 VPN
• Overlay networking
• Scripting (Bash/Python)
• VPN (IPSec, SSL)
• NAC (RADIUS/dot1x)
• Public Key Infrastructure
• Network Monitoring (SNMP, Cacti, OpenNMS,…)
• Linux/Scripting/Automation (Bash, Python, Ansible, SQL, GIT)
• Virtualization (VMWare, ProxMox, KVM, LXC)
• Software Defined Networking (Cisoc DNA, Cisco ACI)

Knowledge about/experience with two of the following vendors (certification is a plus):

• Cisco IOS*/IOS-XE/NXOS (*required)
• Juniper Junos
• Fortinet FortiOS
• Palo Alto PanOS 
• F5 TMOS 
• Infoblox DDI
