IT Solution Delivery Lead

Our client’s Solution Delivery is divided into an ERP and a non ERP department.

The ERP department mainly consists of teams of functional SAP specialists who are responsible for the smooth operation of processes in the SAP applications - +/- 30 applications used by +7.500 users - in the areas of Supply Chain, Customer Service, BI & Analytics, HR, etc. In addition, there are the technical SAP specialists who provide the software for the front and back end applications.

The non-ERP department is responsible for the elaboration, development and delivery of IT solutions for both internal and external customers. They are responsible for the analysis and delivery of the requested functionalities, train and coach the users, etc.

For both departments we are looking for people managers with solid technical experience in one or more of the relevant domains.

  • You will develop a roadmap for your Business Area that is in line with the business strategy and with which you help realize the digital transformation and priorities of the company;
  • You will ensure that all applications within your Business Area are grouped in a number of portfolios and you will appoint an owner for each portfolio who is end-to-end responsible for the stability, availability, performance and evolution of the applications and modules within its portfolio;
  • You will be responsible for contacts with the customers and with all other stakeholders, especially when it comes to strategic decisions;
  • You will estimate the risks, visibility and criticality of projects and discuss these at regular intervals with your department head;
  • You will draw up a Capex and Opex budget that is in line with the main stakeholders and with the business strategy and priorities, and you will manage these budgets with due diligence;
  • You will ensure that your team is optimally staffed in function of the needs, so that service delivery and knowledge retention and spread are guaranteed;
  • In case of conflicting requests for project capacity, you will act as an escalation point;
  • You will manage and coach your employees,  you will promote mutual cooperation and you will ensure the necessary training and development in collaboration with HR.

Your profile;

  • You have a Master's degree in an IT or economic field, or you are equivalent through relevant professional experience;
  • You have at least 10 years of relevant experience within an IT environment, of which at least 5 years with managing a team;
  • You have thorough knowledge of IT Project Management and IT processes;
  • You have excellent communication and presentation skills;
  • You think strategically, you are customer-oriented, stress-resistant and hands-on;
  • You have active knowledge of Dutch, French and English, both orally and in writing.
