Technical Analyst @ Baloise

Technical or functional analysis – why choose? As a Technical Analyst at Baloise, you’ll be doing both. The insurer is focusing on digitalisation through its Transformation Office. As a Technical Analyst, you will join the Core Applications division, where you’ll be warmly welcomed by an agile team of 6 colleagues.

You’ll be responsible for the technical and functional requirements for our Life-insurance branch, building the bridge between the business, our service provider, your team and the system expert.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Delivering a full description of the end-to-end process, which will serve as input for the developers and test scenarios
  • Technical and integration testing
  • Reviewing analyses and validating delivered analyses from a technical viewpoint, taking into account the architectural vision
  • Managing our applications and thinking of ways to improve them

 

In this role, you will be able to work on several projects with a big impact on the digital future of Baloise. Our goal, and your challenge, is to simplify our complex IT environment. Within a few years, our applications will be migrating to the cloud. Are you up for the task?

As a Technical Analyst, you’re good at connecting with people. Thanks to your strong communication skills, you know how to convey information in clear and understandable words. You’re driven, you want to become an expert. You’re also a team player: you’re honest and you don’t pass on duties onto others.

preferebly, you should have these requirements:

  • Minimally a Bachelor’s degree in a technical or ICT field
  • You’ve enjoyed a first experience as analyst
  • Self-starter with a great sense of responsibility
  • You’re familiar with Azure DevOps, Jira and Agile
  • Knowledge of (life) insurance is a plus
  • You communicate fluently in Dutch and English
