Team Manager / Coach Cloud Platforms

To strengthen our competitive position of our Private Cloud, we recently concluded a partnership with a global player on the market. A number of Private Cloud platforms come under the technical leadership of this partner who takes ownership. For the Proximus employees in these teams (Infrastructure, VMware, Linux, Windows, and Database Competence C, Business Class Systems and Orchestration) we are looking for 2 motivated colleagues for the role of Team Manager / Coach.

Responsibilities

  • Guiding people and developing talents:
    • Leading, coaching and inspiring a team of IT engineers (about 15-20 employees).
    • Responsible for the general career guidance and building the competences of his/her team(s).
    • Continuously monitor the performance of your employees. In this context, you regularly meet different stakeholders of your employees to discuss their feedback and you regularly communicate this feedback to the employees in the context of 'Coaching & Feedback'.
    • Develop and evaluate performance, based on 360° feedback sessions.
    • Support and monitor the development plans and objectives.
  • Ensuring knowledge, coordination and coordination:
    • Guiding and helping to solve complex problems.
    • Set up processes for interaction and knowledge sharing between the members of his/her team.
    • Create an atmosphere of trust to experiment, learn and stimulate motivation to achieve the objectives.
    • Spot and share key industry trends and innovation practices with team members.

Experience and expertise

  • You achieved a Bachelor or Master degree or equivalent through experience.
  • A professional career of at least 5 years in an IT technical environment is a must for the position.
  • A first experience in people management is a strong added value for the position.
  • Proficiency in English is a must in combination with one of the two national languages, French and/or Dutch.
