As System Engineer, you will, together with the System Architect, cover the management and the support of the whole ICT infrastructure within our customer's company.
You will ensure the support of internal clients related to IT equipment and application for both Brussels and Amsterdam offices. Furthermore, you will provide technical assistance to other business departments for the preparation of important customer projects.
Here’s what you’ll mostly be getting up to
- Server Management
Installation, configuration, and upgrade of the Windows server platform (physical and virtual). Administration, maintenance, and resolution of issues and problems. - Network Management
Installation and maintenance of the network infrastructure. Manage the security aspects to ensure a safe environment. - Internal IT support
Support on all hardware and software set at the disposal of the employees. Use of trouble ticketing system for IT support. - System Architecture
Assist in the selection and implementation of new infrastructure. - Administration & Reporting
Maintenance of the documentation related to the whole environment. Asset management (hardware, software)
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, with 3-5 years experience in a User Support position, or other relevant hands-on experience in ICT.

- Server
Windows Server 2008 to 2019 – Active Directory + Azure AD – SharePoint Online – Exchange Online – DNS, DHCP, WSUS, RADIUS, KMS – SQL server - Desktop
MS Windows (7 and 10) – Windows imaging (Sysprep) - Virtualization
VMware + vSphere – ESXi servers

Powershell – PnP Powershell - Software & tools
O365 administration and management – MS Office O365 desktop clients – MS TEAMS
- Scripting
Knowledge about storage (NAS, SAN, LUN, RAID, Backup, Restore), networking (firewalls such as FortiGate, Enterasys switching, patching management) & Security (antivirus management server, cybersecurity tools) is a big plus!
