Swift Consultant

The Job

 

• Provide recommendation on technology upgrades

• Communicate all customer implementation and support interactions to team members

• Participate in designing, developing and supporting new offers as requested by team manager

• Support newly developed solutions

• Deliver product/service/solution training on an as needed basis

• Plan Deployments and Technical Designs with Supervising Senior

• Ensure timely completion of projects and deployments

• Keep I&S (project & cases) backlog on minimal level

• Complete 90% of implementations successfully within the deadlines

• Develop at least 2 technical documents to be added to the knowledge base

• Use CRM and intranet and comply 100% with the TSS and Support procedures

• Work with managements to determine departmental priorities.

• Participate in company wide initiatives when assigned and required

 

Working Conditions:

 

• Work Schedule: Full time, and may need to work extra hours to meet deadlines.

• Business Travel time: up to 20%

• Might require working on night shifts, during holidays and weekends.

Qualifications:

 

• Computer Science/ Engineering graduate from a reputable university.

• Minimum 8 years industry experience (IT Field, Financial Markets, and Experience in the SWIFT unit of a bank).

• Certifications: windows, UNIX, MSSQL or Oracle.

• Proven track in software installation and troubleshooting.

• Managed and successfully completed at least 4 major projects/implementations over a period of time.

• Demonstrated ability to develop skills, work effectively with the team dynamics, achieve goals and administer trainings.
