Within ArcelorMittal Belgium, we produce steel using state-of-the-art automation and optimisation techniques. The IAM department, which stands for Industrial IT, Automation and Models, takes care of the computerisation and automation of all production and logistics processes.

We are looking for a specialist in industrial IT and automation, to enter a fascinating and high-tech IT environment. Your aim is to continuously optimise our processes, using the latest technologies.

Tasks include:

• Managing, renewing and extending the software for controlling and monitoring production/logistics activities
• Staying in close contact with your customers, supporting them with various digital challenges
• Constantly looking for improvements by proposing new techniques & technologies and analysing existing processes
• Working independently to successfully complete your tasks

Your passion for IT motivates you to keep up-to-date on the latest technologies and software architecture, while your social skills enable you to integrate smoothly into new and existing teams. You have the capabilities and ambition to lead a project team.

Additionally, you:

• Hold a Master’s degree
• Communicate fluently in Dutch and English
• Have affinity with logistics and industrial production processes
• Have knowledge of C# and .NET
