We are looking for a perfect english speaker and skilled Java Developer to work in Walloon Brabant. You participate in the design, development, testing, benchmarking and maintenance of the different products. The team is in charge of the definition, development and maintenance of a wide set of services, hosted either in the public cloud (AWS) or on-prem used worldwide by our customers.

Your responsibilities will be to :

• Design, develop, test, install and support programs/systems in line with agreed requirements.
• Assist with the analysis of requirements and the development of recommendations as to the systems approach to follow.
• Analyze the problems, develop and propose solutions
• Prepare specifications, tests, deliverables, acceptance criteria, time frames, etc
• Prepare and study the technical feasibility and estimates of the proposed systems solutions.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation.

Professional knowledge and expertise:

• 10 years of experience in systems development 
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Technical knowledge and skills in the following areas :
• at least 10 years of experience in programming with SpringBoot and Java for RHEL and Windows systems.
• at least 10 years of experience with Relational Database systems (Oracle, MySQL).
• at least 4 years of experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• knowledge of middleware and web technologies like application servers (e.g. Tomcat, Web Services, SOAP, REST…).
• knowledge of XML and JSON technology
• experience in designing and implementing software solutions with high scalability, performance and resilience (i.e. multi-processing, multi-threading, clustering)
• knowledge of IP network and security fundamentals.
• knowledge of software development tools (GIT, Bitbucket, ...)
