For our client based in Brussels, we are looking for a medior/senior security consultant within the domain Protect. The client is working on a number of important security and business projects in which security advice regarding to infrastructure protection is crucial.

Role:

• Ensuring the continuity of services within Protect.
• Correctly following up / determining security controls for various projects within the organization (security by design).
• A correct follow-up of all projects with security in-the-lead as well as projects with security as a stakeholder is essential to keep the risks of data leaks or major incidents under control.

Profile:

• Good knowledge of networks and network segmentation.
• Developing, monitoring and assuring network security, security monitoring, security baselines and vulnerability management.
• PKI/certificate consulting (also 802.1X authentication in wired lan).
• Cyber basics (compliance with basic security controls).
• Infrastructure protection: container platform security, IOT, hybrid multi cloud, storage protection, infra-as, server & platform security, middleware security.

Further if expertise is available:

• Transition to DevSecOps to respond to agile business methodology.
• Software/service layers for CI/CD pipeline (Gitlab, Jenkins ...).
• Further elaboration and optimization of SOC services.
• Further develop priviledged access management.
• Being able to work independently and quickly in a more complex organization.
• Solution oriented.
