Context

We are looking for an Opentext Exstream Technical Engineer who will work in an agile environment as a member of the Platform Engineering scrum team. You will be responsible for the technical aspects of the platform and its integrations, there you will collaborate with and support our analysts. You will be working in the Customer Interactions Chapter where we manage email, SMS and letter communications to our customers using Opentext Exstream.

Role and responsibilities:

• You will need to have a helicopter view of all components managed within the team
• You will be responsible for the integration of various components as well as their maintenance
• You provide support with regard to the platform and integrations
• You help the team to define their acceptance criteria.
• You will work very closely with the analysts, developers, testers and template designers
• You attend meetings with other experts to discuss the way of working and share knowledge
• You share your vision and knowledge with the rest of the team

Your profile:

• Knowledge of Opentext Exstream is a must and so we expect you to have previous experience with this platform
• You have previous experience with agile methodologies and frameworks such as scrum, Kanban, safe
• Good communication skills help you share your vision and knowledge with others on your team
• Fluency in English, knowledge of French and/or Dutch is a plus but not strictly necessary
• A proactive and assertive attitude, where you are not afraid to push for change
• You like to be hands-on, like writing designs and programs or solving problems. You also think of improvements for the applications
• Experience with at least one programming language such as java, javascript is a must
• Knowledge of Linux, Unix strictly necessary
• You are analytical, assertive and think solution-oriented.
• You are optimistic, creative and have an open mind.
