Linux System Engineer

  • As a system engineer you will study the needs of the server infrastructure of our client;
  • You will propose architecture solutions;
  • You will take care of the configurations and evolutions of our client’s Linux systems;
  • You will prepare the files and procedures with which the team responsible for the day-to-day management of the Linux systems can perform its work as efficiently as possible.

  • You have a Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science;
  • You have experience in managing Linux systems;
  • You are familiar with the Linux distribution Redhat (RHEL 6 and 7);
  • Having knowledge of RHEL 8 is a plus;
  • Ideally you have a good knowledge of scripting, Ansible, OpenStack, OpenShift, Docker and Kubernetes;
  • Having knowledge of Zabbix, KVM and Puppet is a great asset;
  • You like to take on challenges and to analyze, study, evaluate and propose new solutions;
  • You prefer to work in a flexible, systematic, orderly manner and you are focused on looking for solutions;
  • You have good communication skills;
  • You are calm, thoughtful and you enjoy working in a team;
  • You are prepared to commit yourself in this position to make rapid progress;
  • You have at least some basic knowledge of both Dutch and French. You are fluent in Dutch or French.
