The responsibility for the development and operational support of Proximus' Operational Support Systems (OSS) lies within the NBU/NIT (Network Business Unit/Network IT) department.

In this department, the NSA (Network Service Activation) domain works on the architecture, design, implementation and operational functioning of the applications, used for the provisioning and repair of the fixed and mobile services (Voice, TV, Data & Internet, OTT, ...) offered on the Proximus network and service platforms for the different customer segments within Proximus.

For our domain we are looking for a Junior Service Level Manager who can strengthen our operational team.

Job description

  • As a Junior Service Level Manager, you will be responsible for the correct operational functioning of the IT applications.
  • You monitor the service levels and the KPIs of your applications. Where necessary, you will adapt the SLAs and KPIs to the changing business environment.
  • Proactively and reactively deal with problems and complaints related to the service provided. Analyse, interpret, and collect these to develop a final solution.
  • In case of major incidents, you will be the point of contact and monitor this closely. You also ensure clear communication with the business and other stakeholders.
  • Applying the various ITIL processes is part of the duties of a Service Level Manager. Think of incident management, problem management, change management, business continuity, proactive operational monitoring, management of operational documentation and processes.
  • If necessary, you will draw up an improvement plan to improve and guarantee the quality and availability of your applications.
  • You will report on KPI evolution, application usage and trends of incidents and problems.
   

 

 

Profile

  • Bachelor or master (preferably in an IT direction) or equivalent through experience
  • You are just graduated, or you have a work experience up to 5 years.
  • Analytical and assertive, strongly customer and solution oriented
  • Broad technical IT knowledge
  • Very strong in organizing and documenting
  • You are motivated and willing to learn
  • You are organized, systematic and orderly
  • You are stress resistant
  • Fluent in Dutch and/or French and advanced knowledge of English
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes is a plus
