IT Engineer L2

We are looking for a talented, diligent IT Engineer to

- Maintain and administering our clients’ network, servers and computerssystems.

- Support End Users in their daily work and

- Work on evolution project

- Work on technical budget evaluation

The engineer will be part of the Level 2 team, but will love to be flexible and help the Level 1 helpdesk pool if necessary (holiday period, over charge, illness of a colleague…)

The IT Engineer's responsibilities include supporting End Users and contributing to troubleshooting hardware, software, and networking issues, as well as ensuring that all computing operations run with

optimal performance and security.

To be successful in your job , you should have an excellent ability to solve problems using your in-depth understanding of information systems and computing solutions. The best IT Support Engineer will also be a team player, willing to handle all support requests with courtesy and professionalism.

You will directly report to the Team leader.

What You Need for this Position

Excellent knowledge of IUser’s environment and IT systems and infrastructure

Prior experience as a systems administrator, or in the IT department.

Prior experience with networks, databases and patch management.

Basic knowledge of security issues and waysto prevent them.

Excellent problem-solving aptitude and analyticalskill.

Ability to prioritize a wide range of workloads with critical deadlines and manage an IT project

from end to end.

Able to evolve in a fast-moving environment and bring innovative thinking.

High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

Team player.

Strong communication skills.

Good French and English oral and written communication skills.

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or related fields, or

equivalent relevant experience.

o Professional certification or completed training programs are a plus.

What You Will Be Doing

Maintaining and configuring the network, servers and computers, including hardware,

system software, data storage, applications and VoIP telco.

Sustaining network integrity, server deployment, and security ( monitoring internal

backups, access controls, VPN IPSEC connection, firewalls and intrusion detection

systems…).

Be available for the Usersto help them to resolve the problemsthey face in using their

workstations environment

Diagnosing and resolving hardware,software, networking, and system issues and outages when they arise.

Replacing and upgrading defective or outdated components when necessary.

Monitoring system performance to ensure everything runssmoothly and securely.

Providing technicalsupport when requested.

Be part of evolution plan reflection and proposal

Contributing to documenting IT infrastructure, assets, software implementation and any

processes which employees need to follow in order to successfully work within our computing

system.
