Supply Chain & Quality is a part of IT at ArcelorMittal, where they’re currently looking for a software architect. As IT Architect for the Supply Chain, your responsibilities include:

• Maintaining a helicopter view over all IT systems related to the supply chain and their dependencies on other systems
• Managing projects from start (brainstorming) to finish (roll-out and further evolutions), while working closely with product owners and key users (‘the business’)
• Acting as a coach and point of contact for the various IT Supply Chain teams for questions concerning software architecture
• Always staying up-to-date of the latest methods and techniques
• Relying on your knowledge of business needs and processes to always look for the most optimal solution
• Communicating with IT and business stakeholders

Your attitude and motivation are what’s most important. Nevertheless, there are a few items on our wish list for the ideal candidate:  

• A Master’s degree
• Experience with business process modelling and BPMN diagrams
• Experience with project management
• Basic knowledge of software architecture
• Fluent in Dutch and English
• A creative mind who comes up with out-of-the-box solutions
