We help people take care of what they really find important in life. As a life insurance company, we protect our customers by providing strong product solutions. And we support each and every Belgian in their search for happiness. With 1.6 million unique customers, 600 happy employees and an annual turnover of 1 billion euro, NN is part of a strong international group. That’s why we are delighted to welcome potential colleagues to NN who would like to have a positive impact on the lives of each of our customers!

What impact will you have as IAM Officer at NN?

In the first instance, you will manage access rights to the various applications. That means you will be the person who enables NN employees to log into the right tools, which in turn means they will be able to do their job without any problems and we will be able to handle customer data responsibly.

But the job is much more than just that. You’ll also learn about all the ins and outs of our organisation so that you can provide advice on security, IAM and UAM for various projects and innovations. And by doing so, you will be supporting management and your other colleagues in the company with your expertise.

Your tasks in a nutshell

  • You will manage the role-based access and control system and ensure that we approach it with care and consideration. Not having out-of-control access rights means no there will be no security issues.
  • You will provide advice on security, IAM and UAM whenever we onboard new technology. You’ll work with the business to analyse what the best role model is for access rights, in conjunction with colleagues from the various departments and management.
  • You will provide support when users are unable to log in. And if the same problem repeats itself, you’ll propose a structural solution.
  •  You will deal with security incidents.
  • Each year, the National Bank conducts an audit to check that we at NN are dealing securely with customer data. You will supervise this audit.
  • If you think something can be done better, you will make a note of it and put forward a proposal as to how it can be improved.

What do you have to offer as IAM Officer

      • You have at least 5 years’ experience with IAM/UAM and have provided 1st, 2nd and 3rd-line support in the past. You are familiar with OMADA, SAILPOINT or equivalent IAM tooling.
      • Your broad overall knowledge of IT (applications and infrastructure) will enable you to manage the access right to a whole range of applications and servers. You have general knowledge about operating systems (Windows, Linux, Mac-OS, Android, Server OS) and networks.  For instance, you know about basic concepts such as IPV4, IPV6, DNS, Firewalls and routing.
      • You know about SQL databases and connections to them. You will also need knowledge of Active Directory and cloud environments.
      • Analysis is one of your strengths. This enables you to find solutions for problems and also to see ways in which the way we operate can be improved. You do not hesitate to put forward proposals for improvement and to challenge the proposals made by others. Always in a respectful manner, of course.
      • Stress is part and parcel of the job from time to time and you are able to deal with pressure. If something needs to be done urgently, you will make adjustments to your work schedule accordingly.
      • You are able to work in English and Dutch or French.

We will ask quite a lot of you, but you will get a great deal in return. What does NN have to offer you?
