Senior Network Engineer - The job

The IT Operations department has planned several of projects in 2019 that require the engagement of a multi-skilled IT consultant to support the implementation, control and operational start-up of key projects (infrastructure refund, migration, securitization, installation, documentation.

The activities can be grouped into three categories:

• Bridging the gap between the IT and Facilities worlds. (main activities)
• Improvement of operations on Microsoft products (MS-SQL)
• Implementation/control of network and data centre transformations

Senior Network Engineer - Your profile

• 5-10 years of practical experience in the realisation of projects linking IT and facilities.
• Ability to communicate in one of the national languages + a good understanding of the other one as well as in English
• Knowledge in the different IT skills :
  • Network knowledge :
    • Aruba
    • Able to interpret network plans and deduce physical implementation actions
    • Basic knowledge of: switching, LB, MPLS, firewall, VPN-Tunnel,...
    • Practical experience in WIFI deployment and IT infrastructure: cabling, racks, SAN, Server
  • Microsoft technology:
    • MS OS 2008, 2012 and 2016
    • MS-SQL
    • SharePoint and Biztalk (optional)
  • Data center
• Practical understanding of security and compliance issues.
