This multinational located in Antwerp and recurv is exclusively looking for a result oriented Senior Functional Analyst who is ready to take ownership in projects. You can count on a multicultural and innovative environment where growth and knowledge sharing is strongly encouraged. You will be joining an IT team of 20 people (mix .NET, Java, SAP). Since this is a newly created function, you will support them to develop more structure and efficient processes.
CHALLENGE
As the Senior Functional Analyst you will work on a new application (which was rebuilt from scratch) that links the automated warehouse system with the (physical) sorting & packaging machines. This project will be your focus at the beginning and after the delivery you will be able to participate on other projects.
- As the link between Business and IT, you analyse the needs of internal end users and translate them into user stories.
- You work closely with an Java Development team of 10 developers to clarify these user stories. Together you will look for the most appropriate solution.
- As the brand new Senior functional analyst, you support the project on the basis of testing, giving demos, creating training manuels,...
- Min. 4 years experience as Functional / Business / Process Analyst
- Preferably you have a first experience as a Software Developer or worked closely with an IT development team
- Experience with requirements gathering, creating user stories (mapping), process/data modelling techniques (not specified which one)
- Basic knowledge of UX design
- You have an analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail
- You speak fluent English
