functional analyst

Job Description:

As a functional analyst, you’ll work for one of our clients. You’ll be the sole contact point for all their functional needs.
Thanks to the combination of your technical insight, strategical mind and strong communication skills, you can effortlessly close the gap between business and IT.

  • You always keep the scope of the project in mind, and you know how to set your priorities.
  • You’ll work in close collaboration with the development team, answering their questions and making sure all the work is of excellent quality.
  • You’ll closely follow the development and testing of the functionalities that are described in the user stories.
  • In the final phase, you’ll also help key users with acceptation testing.

Profile:

  • Preferably, you have a master's or bachelor’s degree in information technology.
  • You have at least 3 years of experience working in IT and you also have some experience in functional analysis.
  • You’re completely comfortable working in a waterfall and/or agile environment.
  • Creating user stories and wireframes is no problem for you. You also have some experience with UML, use cases, web services and interfaces.
  • You have strong analytical skills, and you are detail oriented - without ever losing sight of the bigger picture. 
  • Taking initiative doesn’t scare you. You are assertive, and you know how to deal with stress.
  • Lastly, you are fluent in Dutch and English. Do you also speak French? That’s a plus!
