Description

As Freelance Senior Solution Architect ICT Infrastructure you will be joining the Infrastructure Architecture team, part of the Architecture Office within the organization.

• Design, the technical architecture for business applications and supporting ICT systems integrated in the existing infrastructure (Hosting, DB, Network, VM)
• Collaborate with the other ICT architects, analysts, developers, the ICT Operations teams (Systems, Networks, DBs), and the Security Office
• Overview the global enterprise architecture consistency within the group

(Central ICT, Affiliates, Industrial Sites) to provide advice and expertise to, and elaborate proposals and designs for the central and remote sites on the matter of industrial ICT and cybersecurity

• Elaborate technical projects for ICT Operations to improve the management and follow-up of infrastructure systems
• Manage the technical standards and the configuration repository
• Follow up technology evolutions and provide the required knowledge for ICT Operations to manage the current infrastructure, prepare for future developments and carry out technical projects
• Contribute to the correct and efficient functioning of the ICT infrastructure
• Respecting SLA agreements and aligned to ICT management processes

• Experience with enterprise-scale ICT systems as architect for ICT infrastructure systems, or a similar function
• Fluency in English. French and/or Dutch is required
• Knowledge and interest of:
  • server technology (Linux en Windows servers)
  • networks and firewalls
  • SAN and NAS storage
  • virtualisation (VMWare)
  • cloud solutions (Azure)
  • container technology (Kubernetes)
  • software-defined infrastructure
  • automation (Ansible)
