We have huge digital ambition implementing state of the art technology to achieve our objective. You will be part of the Analysts chapter. Assigned to a squad, you will define the digital specific solution to be implemented by the development team in the squad.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform detailed technical analysis with regards to user stories requested and created by the Product Owner with the support of the scrum team, Solution analyst and architects.
• Act as the point of contact for the questions related to the projects or stories being implemented throughout the story lifecycle, including all stakeholders: business, backend services, quality assurance and management.
• Collaborate with the Solution analyst and architect and support them in during high level solution definition and high-level estimations for upcoming projects.
• Ensure the readiness of the user stories before the development starts:
  • Clear technical description of the user story
  • Validate back-end readiness
  • Track that no requirements/user stories are missed, be aware of all change requests and remaining user stories of a project
• Available for questions and delivers instantaneous feedback to the scrum team during the Sprint
• Team point of contact during user acceptance testing
• Provide support to e-Operations to ensure that incidents are managed/solved within the adequate timing (depending on the incident criticality)

Profile

• A strong analytical mindset combined with Java web development (J2EE) or NodeJS, Angular web development
• Ability to embrace concepts such as clear acceptance criteria, executable requirements, short iterations, continuous feedback and clarity of business objectives.
• Ability to work in a structured environment with flexibility for frequent changes of priorities
• Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems (critical thinking).
• Ability to translate requirements into technical solutions according to rules, standards and guidelines defined in the architecture
• Good communication skills (spoken and written) according to the needs of different audiences
• Team player and negotiation skills
• English is mandatory. Dutch and French are a plus
• At least 5 years of experience on Java (J2EE) or NodeJS web based development.
• Strong experience in J2EE development
• Good experience with UML and design pattern
• Experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, with REST, µServices and ability to define (json) API's (between client and µServices), in databases, with Agile methodologies, Jira as issue and backlog management tool
• Knowledge on Angular is a plus
