Data Project Leader

The data project leader participates actively in the execution of the data strategy through different projects and the development of the central data platform. He will interact with various stakeholders and business representatives to better understand their processes, data flows, and priorities to deliver their information needs & requirements by collaborating with ICT and the data office team.

The data project leader works closely with data functional analysts, data architects, and the BI developing team.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Leads project teams throughout all phases of the project lifecycle.
  • Define resource plan, manage the execution of factual requirements gathering, manage and keep control over key project milestones, metrics, and success factors.
  • Ensure project objectives and scope are clearly defined, understood by impacted stakeholders.
  • Coordinate solution analysis and design with the entire project team including business analysts, architects, developers, and infrastructure leads.
  • Define and manage achievable iterative deliveries in an agile mode.
  • Works in close collaboration with the data functional analyst along the entire project lifecycle to ensure appropriate delivery in an agile and pragmatic approach.

Your profile:

  • Master’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Management, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in BI analytics project management.
  • Understanding and applying advanced project management, quality, and process improvement methodologies and leading complex cross-functional projects.
  • Must be able to define, shape, and drive projects to completion while effectively collaborating with multifunctional stakeholders.
  • Experience working on requirements, design, development, testing, and deployment using agile methodology.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in establishing and implementing data governance policies
  • Active knowledge of Dutch or French and English.
