Function description:

The candidate will be part of the team IS Life Run, Release & 1st Line MT/AD, Test teal, that supports the complete Maintenance scope for the main life applications, support and prepare the monthly business release, handle all run activities related to Legal obligations, etc.. In his/her role, he/she will be the first contact point of the business related to maintenance demands. He/She will be responsible for the first analyses, triage to the different teams and follow-up till the solutions is implemented. Further on he/she will take care of the project plan, create task for each demand and with a target to stay within the budget The applications are developed using Cobol/ SQL databases on a Microfocus platform, and involves

interacting with various technologies and teams for Front-end, printing or communication components.

Main objectives:

• Be is charge of a first line maintenance team of 4 to 6 persons
• Coordinate the demand priorities between business and IT
• Dispatch the demands in his/her team or send them to the second line support
• Responsible for all maintenance request on planning and follow-up
• Prepare with team the non-regression tests before a business release
• Activate long term solutions to the different domain based on frequent recurring problems

Your profile:

• You have at least 5 years of experience as Functional analysis
• You can speak and understand French and/or Dutch and English
• Knowledge and experience of Cobol mainframe
• Understanding of Source code Cobol and SQL
• Eager to deep dive into problems and find solutions
• Experience with Agile & Waterfall methodology
• Experience in a maintenance environment
• Architectural design of data bases
• Mastering of MS-office tools
• Experience with Application Development of Administrative systems in an IT department
• Able to capture main topics in discussions with technical IT people
• Working in large IT organisation is a plus
• Insurance or Banking experience is a plus
