Cloud engineer

Job Description:

  • The optimization and maintenance of the cloud infrastructure will be your personal project - you improve the processes where necessary and you help the operational teams to find the best possible migration strategy.
  • Applications and software have to be able to communicate safely, you know this all too well. You proactively make sure nothing goes wrong.
  • You’re a true team player. The Linux system engineer and the DevOps team will be your new best friends.

Profile:

  • You already have quite some experience as a system engineer in a Linux environment (ubuntu/redhat).
  • Cloud services (aws/azure), Kubernetes, Docker and Gitlab are your best friends, but you can also work with Ansible, Python, Javascript and React.
  • Your scripting skills (powershell, bash) are, as they say, on point.
  • Whenever there’s a new trend in cloud services or the IT world in general, you’re the first one to read up on it! For you, your education didn’t stop after you got your diploma, it just started. Whenever you get the chance to obtain a new certificate, you grab it with both hands.
  • You believe there’s a solution for every problem, and you’re not afraid to speak up.
  • Teamwork makes the dream work.
  • You speak Dutch and English fluently. Do you also speak some French? That’s definitely a plus!
