We are a DevOps Team that maintains the R&D and Delivery & Support IT services. Our team is part of the Global IT department. Users of IT services are employees of the company: the main part of which is: developers, testers, implementation and support engineers.

Our mode of operation is 8x5, 100% remotely.

In our work, we apply the ITIL methodology and ITSM systems based on JIRA SD.

Responsibility

• Maintenance, expansion and growth of an internal wrapper system for creating resources in public clouds;
• Working with users, incident resolution, service requests, and RFC;
• Documentation of the architecture and the implemented solutions;
• Automation of routine tasks, writing Ansible playbooks and Terraform modules;
• Supporting and development of infrastructure in the paradigm of Infrastructure as a Code;
• Providing support for infrastructure development in public clouds for R&D and Delivery departments.

Requirements

• Expert knowledge of Linux systems;
• Excellent understanding of network principles (TCP/IP protocol family) and network services;
• Understanding of Software Development process and principles of Infrastructure as a Code approach;
• Experience writing Ansible playbooks, Terraform modules;
• Hands-on experience in finding and eliminating bottlenecks in the infrastructure and analyzing the utilization of computing resources;
• Hands-on experience with public clouds, such as Oracle Cloud, AWS, Azure, developing a new infrastructure from scratch;
• Good spoken English communication skills.

Would be an asset

• Experience in building, configuring, operating and optimizing HA solutions;
• Hands-on experience in building VPN tunnels in public clouds;
• Interest in automating routine tasks using Bash, Python;
• Experience with monitoring systems (Zabbix, Prometheus);
• Hands-on experience with RedHat Openshift;
• Understanding ITIL practices;
• High-level programming (C++, Java, Python, Go etc);
• Profile's certifications such as LPIC, RedHat, Microsoft, IBM.
