- You will be end-to-end responsible for the management of a portfolio of applications in terms of performance, stability, coherence, life cycle and user-friendliness;
- You will participate in functional analyzes within the same application portfolio;
- You will act as a subject matter expert of the applications within your portfolio, together with colleagues, and you will give advice to your IT colleagues and Business stakeholders;
- You will ensure the knowledge and use of the applications;
- Your main responsibilities will be (1) to act as an escalation point for incidents, problems, service requests within the application portfolio, (2) to handle functional escalations from first and second line support, actively supporting operational teams in order to provide a fast and thoughtful solution to incidents, problems, service requests and structural problems within the application portfolio, and (3) to document the solutions provided.
- You will own end-to-end responsibility for managing and monitoring applications in the assigned portfolio of applications, continuously striving for optimal functioning, continuity, life cycle, availability of the applications and integration with other applications;
- You will advise and consult with business process owners and IT management on the required projects to be able to develop and realize the vision regarding the application portfolio, you will create support and actively bridge the distance between IT and the end product of the business;
- You will create the work backlog for the application portfolio, determining the priorities in function of the strategic roadmap, managing the implementation of changes according to these priorities, in collaboration with the business process owners;
- You will coordinate the implementation of changes in sprints and releases and ensure commitment of all resources needed to complete this realization on time, within budget and with the agreed quality;
- You will act as a point of contact for Business Process Owners and IT employees for the assigned application portfolio;
- You will maintain, where relevant and with respect for the applicable guidelines within the organization, of contacts about new versions and releases with the suppliers involved in your portfolio.
- You have a Master degree or you’re equivalent by relevant professional experience
- You have at least 5 years of experience in a similar position : functional or technical analyst, developer, … preferably within a support context;
- You have experience in support of software packages;
- You have good knowledge as a user of IT packages such as MS Office;
- Having experience with databases (Oracle, SQL) is an advantage;
- Having knowledge of ITIL is a plus;
- You are proactive, highly problem-solving and practical, and you’re well organized;
- You are stress resistant, customer oriented and you are a team player;
- You have strong interpersonal communication skills;
- You are fluent in Dutch, French and English
