Agile Coach - AXA / ING Partnership

POSITION CONTEXT & SUMMARY 

 

After a long & competitive selection process, AXA has won a key global bancassurance partnership with ING expected to deliver high business volumes, across various countries and business lines.

 

Much more than a simple distribution agreement, this strategic partnership for the group is considered as a catalyst to accelerate the Group transformation and create tomorrow’s way of delivering protection to customers.

 

It involves a strong level of innovation & transformation to design disruptive insurance & assistance solutions delivered through highly customer centric journeys.

 

In this context, a fully dedicated team has been created to implement & manage this partnership with the various AXA & ING entities involved.

 

The team is composed of both a central team (in charge of designing the value proposition and steering the overall partnership) and local teams (in charge of successfully implementing the solutions designed in their respective markets).

 

Together, we will shape the market, building a scalable international platform that unifies multiple markets, creating one ecosystem of protection propositions and experiences across Life and Non-life products.

 

 

 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

The Agile Coach will be responsible for coaching, supporting and training digital squads in the delivery of bancassurance products, ensuring customer is at the heart of all development, across our product ecosystems.

 

Team support & coaching:

- Coach the squads both as a group and as individuals on behaviour. Look at their maturity, help them to continuously improve themselves and grow towards high performing squads

- Ensure that the squads are aware of their responsibilities and most important Agile concepts, such as key roles, Definition of Ready and Definition of Done

- Facilitate Agile events such as daily Stand Up, review, retrospective, refinement, planning and ensure continuous improvement in quality of these events

- Support squads in refining their purpose and translating this to feasible Epics, Features and User Stories. This includes coaching Product Owners with design thinking activities to design customer centric solutions, test the concepts etc., managing their stakeholders, managing their planned design work to smoothly feed the build phase

- Help the squads solving impediments or to place them on the right spot

 

Leadership support & coaching:

- Coach the Leadership and Ecosystem’s Leads both as a group and as individuals on behaviour

- Support the Leadership to make use of the Obeya room more effectively

 

Training & best practices:

- Introduce and continuously improve the way of working

- Facilitate alignment of squads through scaling agile best practices

- Promote and share best practices at a Group level

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE 

 

Experience

- 3+ years experience as Agile Coach in a fast paced, digital and international organisation

- SCRUM Master is a plus

 

Technical Skills

- Mastery of Agile practices

- Strong project and change management skills

- Scrum Master or Kanban practices

- Coaching techniques

- Strong training capabilities, using multiple methodologies to enable squads and the tribe to positively develop

- Ability to depict layers of inefficiency and guide the teams to a ‘fast pace’ agile way or working

- Fluent in English

- Excellent written & verbal communication

- Pragmatic, solution oriented

- Ability to rapidly understand and exercise sound judgement on a range of complex and diverse issues

- High level of organization & structure in complex environment

- Customer oriented
