ABR Analyst

  • you are an IT analyst for the ABR tool
  • you will support the main ABR analyst
  • you are involved in pre discussion, maturation, workload estimation, analysis work for projects requesting ABR (and ANA) new developments as in the pipeline for next years
  • you are checking the validity, feasibility and compatibility of requested scope changes
  • you are analysing the ABR issues communicated by our 2ndline team (production) and our internal development 3d line (non-PROD), and you give feedback, trends, advices for issue solving
  • you are following, understanding solutions proposed for implementation
  • you help in the follow up of release day activities

Your profile:

  • IDMS/COBOL/JCL
  • HTTP (CABR) for middleware; HTML (b.i. for the WEBTA tool, used for the WABR tool), Openshift, JAVA, webservices (understanding of SOA, XML, XSD) and API's
  • understanding of GIT, WAS, Maven
  • understanding/practice of storage/documentation tools: JIRA, SharePoint, OneDrive, FTP with Filezilla:
  • agility to understand and implement new technologies in our ABR flows (b.i. the recent ones: GIT, Maven, WAS9, migration towards Cumulus servers…) and to help for deployment of new versions of specific tools consumed within CED-ABR team
  • help for modernizing/simplifying the ABR model (perspective of ORION program) and support for evolution of our IT mainframe tools
  • able to read and understand existing old IDMS programs/flows used with the ABR tool (APA, ANA, WTA…) and IDMS related processes (AGS, ASR, 'LOM IDMS'…)
  • good and easy contact with the ABR BSO and users
  • correct understanding of the need of the users/requestors and how to match requirements with existing/news flows/code. Realistic regarding feasibility of developments to be done.
  • must be fluent in English: recurrent contacts with OPS team in Sweden, ABR development team members in India, a lot of other tools development teams consuming ABR data; IT internal documentation to be read and written in English. knowledge of French and/or Dutch is a plus
